# Daily Test Report – 15 October 2026

Company tested: **QA Test Company** (qa.company@example.com) – local test copy.
People used: Admin, Manager and Sales staff (QA Sales, My Data), customer QA Customer Co (qa.customer@example.com), carrier QA Carrier Transport.
Flow followed: `FULL_TEST_FLOW.md`, steps **1 to 11** tested by hand by the owner. Problems the owner met were looked at the same day.

How to read the status: **Fixed** = changed on the test copy, waiting to be uploaded · **As designed** = works as intended, explained · **Open** = needs a decision or a fix.

## Part 1 – Manual test, step by step (1 to 11)

| Step | What was tested | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Company admin set-up: Equipment, Mode of Transport, Unit, Tax, Discount, Customer / Carrier Type, Lead and Follow-up statuses, Tracing Status, ID series, Currency rate, Expense Category, Vendor, Bank, staff roles and users | Test data added for the QA company. Dashboard switch problem found (see list below) – **Fixed** |
| 2 | Staff, customer and carrier first look and their own set-up (driver, truck) | Four problems found in the carrier Driver / Truck screens – all **Fixed** |
| 3 | Lead and customer; follow-ups; convert lead to customer | Double "Select" in follow-up pop-ups – **Fixed**. Convert is under CRM → Quotation Leads → Action → Convert To Customer |
| 4 | Customer requests a shipment (RFQ and RFQ Order) | RFQ shows "Pending" until the admin handles it – **As designed**. QA-ORD-001 is the customer's own order request (price 0.00 until the admin sets it) – **As designed** |
| 5 | Admin creates the quotation; direct Create Quotation; customer sees the price and approves | Quotation List looked empty – **As designed** (approved quotations are in the Approved Quotation List, RFQs only after Admin Approved is ticked). One real risk: changing the status of a customer's RFQ from the list pop-up removes its approval – **Open** (E1) |
| 6 | Carrier quotes on the load (bids) | "Published" is the load, "Pending" is the bid – **As designed** |
| 7 | Admin approves the bid and creates the order | Approve is done by clicking the red **Pending** badge, not the Action menu – **As designed**. Order QA-ORD-002 was shown under another customer; it was moved to QA Customer Co for the test |
| 8 | Dispatch to the carrier | No problem reported |
| 9 | Carrier delivers; customer checks Delivered Orders, tracing history, POD, notification | Customer **Delivered Orders has no Tracing History and no POD link** – **Open** (tracing history is in Order List; decision waiting) |
| 10 | Customer invoice and payment | No problem reported |
| 11 | Carrier invoice and payment | No problem reported |

"No problem reported" means the owner did not raise anything for that step; it is not a separate check by me.

### Problems found during the manual test and what happened

| # | Where | Problem | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Company Dashboard (Sales login) | Showed a "My / All" switch to everybody | **Fixed** – staff with All Data see a "My Data / All Data" switch; staff with My Data see only a "My Data" label; admin sees neither |
| 2 | Carrier → Add Driver | "Carrier ID" was a typed box nobody could fill correctly | **Fixed** – filled by the system from the carrier's Carrier ID (company series), read-only |
| 3 | Carrier → Add / Edit Driver | A driver could be saved without a name; no red star; error messages hidden | **Fixed** – Driver Name and Phone Number mandatory, messages visible |
| 4 | Carrier → Driver List | Values sat under the wrong headings; city showed a number | **Fixed** – columns match, city shows its name |
| 5 | Carrier → Truck screens | Name should be "Truck Location & Availability" | **Fixed** (also on the company's truck list and the PDF / Excel titles) |
| 6 | Carrier → Add Truck | Driver Name was typed text | **Fixed** – list of the carrier's own drivers with a green + button to add a driver on the spot |
| 7 | CRM follow-up pop-ups | "Select" appeared twice in Equipment and Follow up Type | **Fixed** |
| 8 | Quotation List | Looked empty | **As designed** (see step 5) |
| 9 | Customer order list vs admin order list | Different | **As designed** – customer sees own orders with limited columns; admin sees all |
| 10 | Customer Delivered Orders | No Tracing History, no POD link | **Open** – decision needed |
| 11 | QA company logins | The Sales staff user and the carrier share the email qa.sales@example.com | **To watch** – tell me if login gets confused |

## Part 2 – Daily report (what was done today)

**Test data for the QA company:** masters (Equipment 53ft Van and Flatbed, Road, KG, GST 5%, Promo 10%, Shipper, Asset Based, Website, Hot, Call back, Loaded), ID series (QA-ORD / QA-QUO / QA-LEAD / QA-CUS / QA-CAR), currency rates (USD 83.5, INR 1), Expense Category Fuel, Vendor QA Vendor, Bank QA Bank. Order QA-ORD-002 moved to QA Customer Co.

**Fixes and changes (all on the test copy, need upload):**
- Dashboard "My Data | All Data" switch by role.
- Carrier Driver: system-generated Carrier ID, mandatory name and phone, visible error messages, aligned list columns.
- Carrier Truck: new name, Driver Name from the driver list with + button, driver must belong to the carrier.
- Company truck list: new name and a security fix (it could list trucks of other companies when "Anywhere pickup / delivery" was ticked).
- ID numbering: numbers are checked only inside the company; two-part series (QA-CAR-000) count correctly; new companies start with their own short code in the series; a carrier who registers himself gets his Carrier ID from the series.
- CRM follow-up pop-ups: double "Select" removed.

**Carried over from the automated test (fixed on 14–15 Oct, see DAILY_REPORT.md for the full list):** B1, B3, C3, D1–D3, E2–E4, F1, F2, G1, H1, H3, I1, I2, I4–I6, J2, J3, J6, K1–K3, K5, K7, L1, M2–M4, P1.

## Part 3 – Still open / decisions needed

1. **Customer Delivered Orders** – add Tracing History and a POD link there? (the flow says to check them on that page)
2. **E1** – changing the status of a customer's RFQ from the Quotation List removes its admin approval (the quotation vanishes from both lists). Not fixed yet.
3. **Questions from the automated report:** A3 (staff code per company?), A4 (carrier tracing list to include company statuses?), I8 (hide "Ordered By" on carrier pages?), P5 (Change Password without the current password – first login only?).
4. **Other open items** from `17_Auto_Flow_Test.md`: L2–L6, M1, M5–M7, P2–P5, B2, C1, C2, H2, H4, J1, J4, J5, N1–N4.
5. **Upload:** all fixes above are marked "Needs upload". After uploading run `route:clear` and `view:clear`, and the three migrations from 14 Oct (notification permission, tracing status per company, driver email per carrier).
